Two layers and no more: a photograph of the actual leaf, and one flat electric blue laid over it a few millimetres off. Cream paper does the rest, so the blue reads as ink rather than screen light. Captions are set small in mono with slashes, the way a proof sheet is annotated before it goes to press. Broken, pressed Chinese teas take that treatment well, because their surface is already rough and interrupted. Nothing is distressed for effect; the shift is a printing decision and it stays the same across all thirty-four teas.
